Welcome to the Traveling Speakeasy - a mobile beverage catering service! My goal is to make your event special for you and your guests by providing a unique & fun environment. And more importantly, making the process of planning and hosting the beverage offerings effortless for you.
The Process
Michigan law prohibits liquor licenses outside of brick and mortar. Therefore, due to Michigan liquor laws, the Traveling Speakeasy is a "dry" mobile bar service, which means that I do not provide the alcohol for your event. I will however, work with you to create a drink menu that is exactly what you want for you and your guests, help estimate beverage quantities needed, and create a shopping list that takes the guess work out.
Preparation
Once the drink menu is crafted, I can provide the alcohol order for you based on your guest count and hours of service, then I can put you in touch with one of my preferred vendors or you can head out to Total Wine, Costco, or your favorite beverage store. I will however, provide the garnishments, and bar needs (straws, napkins) to ensure your party is well-stocked and ready to serve your guests.
Event Day
The Traveling Speakeasy provides multiple service/serving options for you depending on what your needs are.
Regardless of which service level you choose, we’ll show up 60-90 minutes before your event begins, get Capone all decked-out, set-up the service area, and be ready to serve as the first guests arrive. Now, scratch setting up the bar and serving drinks off your to-do list, I’ve got you!
