Due to Michigan liquor laws, we do not hold a Michigan Liquor license, and thus all alcohol is provided (purchased) by the host.  We are happy to work with you on creating and placing the order, as well as pick-up and delivery to your event (if available).  We'll help you estimate how much you need to buy to ensure no one goes thirsty, or the flip side, you’re stuck with WAY too much post party.  

Capone (the mobile bar) is located in Redford Township, MI and pricing includes travel within a 25-mile radius of 48239.  We love a good road trip, though, so we are open to discuss your specific needs!  Travel beyond a 25 mile radius will be billed at $2 per mile for anything over 50 miles round trip.

A 50% deposit down to hold your date. You will receive a full refund if you cancel more than 90 days prior to the date of your event.  After that a 50% refund if you cancel more than 45 days from your event. Cancellations within 45 days will not be refunded. All balance and payments are due on event date.  

Just like any prohibition speakeasy, we LOVE cash.  However, the Traveling Speakeasy is set-up to accept credit cards, and e-transfers as well.  

Capone (the Trailer) requires access to be parked on a flat surface with enough room to pull in and turn-around a horse-trailer being pulled by a standard pickup truck.  His dimensions are roughly 8’ wide 20’ long 10’ tall.  We also that suggest 8-10 feet is open in front of the serving window for guests to gather. 

Electrical requirement is standard 110V electricity – we’ll bring the extension cord.  This will help us power up the mobile bar, our lanterns, and festive lighting.  If electricity is not available, we can provide a generator for an additional rental fee.

Every event is different.  Pricing is based on a standard 4 hour bar package, plus “line items”, so that you can customize your event to your liking. You choose everything that you want included in your beverage package and for how long. Our packages, with the trailer, start at $995 for 4 hours of service.  The base package includes the bar, one bartender, help with your menu, drink suggestions, a shopping list, insurances, use of bar equipment and disposable cups, napkins and straws. 

Based on popular request, we have added a 3 hour “Corporate Pour” package ($650) for businesses who’d like to host their employees or clients for a shorter / happy hour period. Typically, these packages include beer and wine service, but we can do anything you’d like - fill out and inquiry form on our contact us page to see if your date is available!

No problem! We are happy to discuss your specific needs. There is a fee of $100 for every additional hour for use of the bar, plus an hourly charge for bartenders beyond the 4 hour package.

Almost any:  Weddings, Anniversaries, Divorces, Birthdays, Celebrations of Life, Baby and Wedding Showers, Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties, Retirement Parties, Neighborhood Block Parties, Corporate Events including Grand Openings, Fundraisers, Employee Picnics or Parties - we'd love to help you plan your next event, whatever it is.

To limit alcohol liability for all parties, and to reduce tension at events that host primarily minors, we generally do not attend High School graduations.  However, we do offer "Dry" bar options - non-alcoholic drinks and separation of areas for everyone's safety.

Yes, we carry Liquor Liability and General Liability Insurance.    

Additionally, our bartenders are TIPS certified in the state of Michigan.  (Training for Intervention ProcedureS)

We do live in the Michigan, so the weather can be sketchy.  We suggest looking at local rental companies for tent options if you are concerned about the weather. Unfortunately, we cannot refund events due to the weather, but we can work with you on an alternate date based on our calendar.
